The closest thing I've found to my grandma's baking. It smells like heaven. Food tastes amazing. Time and love is put into each loaf of sourdough bread and each sweet treat. They have everything from bagels, croissants, tarts, cinnamon buns and beyond! A great place to pick up fesh baked bread. Simply delicious! Friendly staff, I always feel welcome

I’m a sourdough baker so had to try for comparison. Mouth watering. Love that everything is homemade and all natural ingredients. Their ham and cheese croissant and coconut orange peel cinnamon rolls are to die for!

The sourdough bread is excellent, and so are the pastries. The cinnamon buns are some of the best I have had in recent years. My only complaint is the price. You can purchase an excellent organic sourdough in Edmonton for a few dollars less per loaf. I would buy more frequently if the cost of the loaves were a bit more affordable.

I bought a cranberry orange coffee cake, 6 raisin butter tarts, 1 cinnamon bun, 1 cherry cheese Danish and 1 other cherry pastry. I was extremely disappointed. The coffee cake tastes like the pink drizzle on it is made from diluted pesto bismol, can't taste the orange or cranberry at all; the tart is heavy and the crust is well done on the top and the bottom is gooey; the cinnamon bun was heavy and when I got to the second ring it tasted doughy like it wasn't fully cooked; the cheese Danish was excellent and the other pastry was edible. I'm sure some of their pastries are good but not the ones I tried. I personally would not recommend them for anything but single portions.

Bought cinnamon buns that were just ok. No where near what I've had in other bakeries. The woman serving us was rude and made snarky remarks to me about being there with my wife ( she seemed crotchity, maybe needed nap). I won't be back for crappy service and mediocre food.

We have been 4-5 times now and each time everything is fantastic. I highly recommend the danishes and cinnamon buns, although the Asiago pretzels are a very close competitor. Absolutely worth the visit

Go find them at the South East entrance of the Bountiful Farmer's market on 97 st just north of 34 ave, Friday to Sunday. You will NOT find a better tasting banana cream pie anywhere in the city. It's better than your grandma's, better than your oma's, trust me. Treat yourself and have a great weekend lots of other tasty treats as well

What a fabulous local addition. The people seemed like your downhome neighbours. The food.... homemade and delicious. The orange/coconut "cinnamon" buns, but not really cinnamon buns, are absolutely incredible. Devine, deluctable delicious. Keep up the great work Farmhouse.
